Processware Activity Objects
All objects in Processware can basically be described as a typed set of related metadata applied to a collection of values. The typed set of metadata will be described per object type and defines visual and behavioral (amongst other) aspects of the objects.
The collection of values is created at runtime (and controlled by design-time properties and VBScript) and influenced by the grouping of an object. In the case of an ungrouped \ normal object (that is not associated with any Object Group), this collection is bound to a single value, while in the case of a grouped object, the collection is unbound and solely determined by the Object Group containing the object. Visually, an ungrouped object can be rendered as a single title-value pair. A grouped object can be rendered as a column heading followed by zero or more values, or zero or more occurrences of title-value pairs for each value of that object. This is controlled by the
Object Group property available on all (excluding Command Option) objects.
Due to the inherently web-oriented heritage of the product, a few web-only properties exist and care should be taken to ensure a consistent rendition across a multitude of clients.
